A bit of a dry streak on writing. However, after a few weeks of my none stop comedic life ("Jane! Get Me off this crazy thing called life") - or - well maybe the Magical Mystery Tour with me being every bit the Walrus; I am ready to write.
First - the running.
Caballo Blanco will be missed. I love reading about and getting to know genuine people. Honest ones, who are who they are. No pretense. They do what they love, no worries to what the world thinks they should be. Keeping things simple in a so-called complicated world. Knowing how simple life really is. Just BE WHO YOU BE. Micah True was just that.
My running.
I have decided to go streaking again. Thus far it has not been long - 2 days. The last one was 37 days. This one? At least 58 for each inspiring Caballo Blanco year of life. I will try and put as much fun into every mile as he did.
Races.
Next one, Orange County Half Marathon. Can't wait.
Soccer.
2-1, with one rain out. The girls are having a great season thus far. Yet, I am pretty sure this is my last season coaching. However, much I love teaching and hanging out with the team. The time commitment is getting too great as our family gets older. Will see?
Comedy.
Yeah, well, more of that latter. Michael Bluth, or Joel Fleischman I am not. Yet, sometimes ....? Sometimes, you just can't make up this stuff - even if you tried.
Spring Break Week as well. Have a good one!

Spring break here, too...finally!! Thanks for the bday wishes, congrats on the winning record, good luck on the streak--cool idea, the 58 day thing! And your dry spell balances out my nonstop posting lately! :)

The only way I know of a rain-out in soccer is when the fields are so torn up you can't play..? I have been in on game that was called for lightening though. The hail stones were just an accessory to the field.

I'm with you on loving to read about genuine people. In fact, I am only friends with good, genuine people. I absolutely can not stand being around a pretentious person and you can always tell those people right away. Be who you are!

Just finding your blog. Love your streak idea to honor Caballo. It's always easier to stick with something when you know it's to honor someone else.
I love that you are streaking to honor Caballo. That means it will succeed! Doesn't he seem like the kind of guy we'd all get along with? (And the pic you put up is the best I've seen of him.)
