Thought I pick a an uplifting color. Orange uplifting? Anyway, today is a day off. I need to do two a week I just read recently. Good timing as well. This AM I woke up at 6:AM feeling like I really wanted to workout or run. An hour later - I felt like I was on life support. Not sure why but feel really exhausted. I have some over used muscle feelings as well. The legs feel okay it is my shoulders and back. I did my usual weight routine, except the gym finally got the triangle handle replacement for triceps extensions back. I have been using a straight bar till this. I guess triangles are the way to go. The shape must force your hands into a position that works more muscles not just your triceps - which actually feel fine.
Weekly routine is something I shy from posting. Things happen. No matter how much I would like to plan things in detail - I just know it will not happen. However, here is rough estimate. Sunday off. Monday - Pavement. Tuesday - AM Precor/Weights. Wednesday - Rest. Thursday - Pavement. Friday - Precor/Weights. Saturday - Long Pavement or Precor. The days on pavement or precor might change from time to time. So, anyway, it is two on one off. I would like to add swimming or bike. Not sure how to do that at this point.
I have spent sometime reading some uplifting running hype stuff. It helps. It certainly doesn't hurt at all. However, as I read these, I wish I could turn the clock back ten years. I just feel in my late 30's at least I did a crappy job of trying to keep in shape. I have a perpetual 30 pounds no matter how little I eat or eat right. No matter how much I workout - it just sits there. If I could wish it all away I know I could run faster with greater ease.
Oh, well spirits are down overall today as one can tell. Hopefully, it is just due to having a sore body and being tired. Back at it tomorrow.
