A quick one.
Happy Weekend to everyone celebrating the 4th. My favorite holiday each year. This year again, we will be celebrating in Boulder City. Very nice hometown feel for the ALL DAY 4th Celebration. Very much like the town I grew up in North of Seattle on the Puget Sound. Parade, Community Picnic in the Park, and Fireworks. The only difference being I trade this in:

Running? Smooth. I did get my long run in from the last posting (just a day late), and two runs since - 7.5 and 5K distances. Today will actually be double day run - the 5K mentioned (with Husky Puppy), plus a 10K hill workout. Then I am taking a few days off. Feeling the need to rest. Next week - cranking out and kicking up some mileage. Bring on the heat! It will be 112 tomorrow. Perfect day off from running. :)

Wow, it was plenty hot here, but 112? Hope your 4th with the family was wonderful. Sounds like your runs are going well...glad to hear it!
Happy 4th of July Slomo! 112? Holy crap, that's brutal. I talked to my sister in Missouri yesterday and she says that the heat index there was 110 degrees. I feel bad for complaining about 92 degree dry heat. LOL
