An aside for the AM. I get these National Car Insurance Company Ad's. The whole Mayhem thing works on a lot of levels. Yet, just say NO more. What was once a cute idea - worn out. Jumped the shark with me, with the poor older gent whose GPS had dated info while driving. Somehow after spending many years working with Elderly family members, especially those with Parkinson's Disease - that was the one that said, enough.
Devil? Will not be able to do the Running with the Devil HM tomorrow. I will need to be 3 hours drive North to attend a family funeral. Life happens.
Running? Good. Smooth 3.5 mile run with Husky Puppy early AM. Tonight, another, without the Puppy though. Shooting for a 15 plus miler tonight (actually early AM so, technically a Saturday run - gotta beat the heat). After that several days off with the funeral and another Family mini trip for some sand in the toes on SoCali Coast.
Shout out! Big one to all Western States runners. The biggie - the Super Bowl of Trail Running. Go Coleen!
Cheers!

I hope that you have a fantastic weekend!
Hope you had a nice 15 miler tonight. Sorry to hear about the funeral...never fun. :(
Nice run : )
So sorry to hear about the family loss. My thoughts are with all of you during this time.
Little Guy can come over to the Ling's to watch track and tri's. We're kind of addicted.
Hope the family is doing OK Slomo. I'm with you, the mayhem commercials bug me - some stuff isn't worthy of joking around....
Hope those toasty warm runs are going fine for you!
My sincere condolences go to you and your family in this difficult time. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope that you were able to get that 15 miler in, and that it granted you peace and clarity. Happy running, Slomo!
