Bits and Pieces Part XIX: Please Let Me Run?/Gratitude for the Day: Music

I ran last night per schedule. Actually, it was to be a morning run, but that whole NYC Marathon registration system crash took up my running time. So, last night an easy 6.5 miles. I was tired going into the run, and not the best running weather with a pretty chilly 15 mph wind to battle from the North.

Today! Awe perfect day. Trust me it took everything to force myself not to run this AM. I am trying, trying to stick to my Smart Running schedule. Yet today - just perfect here in the SW desert.

Gratitude of the Day

Music means so much to me. It has been as big a part of my life as running is now. I play and sing as well. At least I have. Music Scholarship at one time - I guess someone liked my voice that much. Today, not so much on the participatory side. Yet, over the years it was where I could be with the WHO in me, and always was a place I could go to find the WHO as well. Wide ranges of tastes, likes and soul feeding no matter the style or genres.

Here is a random smattering of Pix representing artist, performers, composers and groups that did it for me in some way. Not a complete list, but ones that pop into my musical head of gratitude.

Cheers!
