Sorry, don't mean to scare ya with this cool guy. I couldn't resist though. Who bought this guys CD's anyway?
I ran tonight. Well, because I am nuts. Sore ankle still, but at least no limping. I ended up jogging with the girls tonight at Soccer practice. The ankle felt okay. So, why not a few miles? I laced the shoes up and took off for 3.5 miles. It was stiff at first, then a little discomfort for most of the run. I had an ankle brace on which seemed to help some. Tomorrow will be the big test - will I be able to walk in the AM?
Cross my fingers and eat a bowl of Lucky Charms, hopefully, I can put this injury behind me. Trust me, I would not have run if I did not feel okay to do so. Yet, I was also going a little stir crazy. I must admit - I really needed it tonight.
Slice of Slomo Happiness:
1. My wife and I finally seeing each other today at 8:30 PM after a day of realworld, three soccer practices and ballet lessons.
2. My little girl - all day at school, soccer practice for 60 minutes, than 60 minutes of ballet, homework, then at dinner - "Dadda, I am tired, can I go to bed now?" She put her little First Grade head down on the dining table and fell asleep.
3. Zzzzzzz
4. The Chieftains, Elvis Costello, U2, The House of Pain, The Waterboys, The Wonder Stuff, and Pop Will Eat Itself.
5. Happy smells of neighbors grilling dinner.
6. Daylight at 6:00 PM
7. Green
8. Soda Bread
9. Corn Beef Brisket
10. Happy to be Irish. Even if it is a wee bit.

I hope that you are able to walk this morning...keep using the brace as it sounds like it helps.
Happy St. Patty's day Slomo!! I love lucky charms and now I am craving a slice of Irish Soda Bread!! Cheers!
Soda Bread and brisket, yes! You don't have to be Irish to love it! Hope your foot is feeling OK this morning. We are all nuts, welcome home!
It's St. Patty's Day, of course it's your lucky day and you can lay that nasty ankle injury to rest! I have never had Irish Soda Bread....even the Irish to the core girl I am. Hum....
