Better?

Nothing picks me up more than running. I actually only put in only 5.5 miles last night. Left the house a little later in the evening than I wanted. Wednesday is busy night - two Basketball practises, and Scouts for the oldest two. Anyway, nice relaxing run after the first mile or so. It had been since Saturdays 11.5 miles. I did a fair amount of stretches before. Yet, in the first mile or so - some very interesting popping and crunching sounds from my feet to my hips. Is it possible I am getting too old for this? Nah. I might need to give my body a longer post Surf City break than my last post run recovery. After all the crunching sounds went away (never any pain) it settled into a very nice run.

My wife feels pacified about things with work since Monday. At least for the time being. We both feel changes are possible one way or the other in the distant future. I am just very proud of her. Honest, integrity and professionalism.

Well, at least for the time being or unless something else pops up; we are here for now. It would be really hard to uproot the kids midway through the school year. It is possible too look at other things here in town. Yet, as I stated before, Vegas is not the best for us. Vegas is what it is. Although our kids call this place home now. That has a very big impact on anything we do.

Slice of Slomo Happiness List:
1. My wife.
2. The great pick and roll play set up by my son last night at Basketball. My youngest who is ALWAYS happy and just funny beyond funny.
3. My favorite running shoe of all time - New Balance 1062's.
4. Getting away for a weekend.
5. Early Rolling Stones, Oasis, Etta James, and Django Reinhardt.
6. Teaching my oldest boys self reliance.
7. New born babes.
8. UW Husky new football recruits on National Letter of Intent Day.
9. New Adventures.
10. Change

Have a great day! Cheers!!!

Hi Slomo! Hope all is well. It sounds like you guys are still having a tough go at the whole "should we stay or should we go thing". It will all work out in the end....

Watch out for that popping and crunching! :)
