Vegas Snow?

Been a very long time since a posting. Just thought I would say that, only because I like pointing out the obvious.

39 degrees this AM. Talk of Snow. Folks this is Vegas. We have lived here nearly 4.5 years. I am the Heat Miser now. I am Mr. Green Christmas with Palm Trees, desert and swimming pools. Going to Disneyland and SoCal Beaches is my kind of Chirstmas. I had the Midwest charming, white winter wonderland Holidays found on Norman Rockwell paintings in Kansas. I had the basically green - Douglas Fir Christmas, salmonny (I know not a word) but very wet ones in Seattle for over 30 years. Actually, I had my share of White Christmas's (one) or near white Christmas's there as well. It was all nice and for once a year charming. However, I am truly to the bone, a warm weather kinda guy and love lots of pouring down all over sun and blue skies. Let it rain sunbursts all over me. You know the the memorable line from Lawrence of Arabia - " I like the desert, becasue it is clean." I know what that means now and I love all the cleaniness that comes with it.

I need to run, but will return. Speaking of which - had a nice acutal road run a week from yesterday AM at 4:30. Vegas Marathon that morning and I was feeling restless. Four miles. Not earth shattering, however, NO PAIN! None at all. It felt really good and strong considering it was my first in months. Will start incoporating one to two a week for a few weeks. I think I will shoot for LA Marathon or SD in June or maybe Seattle Rock and Roll. Will see. Bye bye my 5 year old Princess needs her chauffer Dad to pick her up from School. Off.. for now ...
