Sick Child and Dad

Not sure where I left off. A sick three year old can alter life some. Especially when he passes it on to you (me). I was able to get in to see Precor. It was sluggish each time. However, sluggish and sick workout is better than no workout.

Living in Vegas the summer heat can beat you up. I am not a fan of running when it is above 100 degrees. Wonder why? Which is why I am on first name basis with Precor 546i. Although some actually do it. There is an aptly titled run called Running with the Devil near Lake Mead. I think it is a 10k and Half Marathon in the middle of July when it can get to a devilish temp. of 115 out there. So, anyway I am reminding myself as I type. I was going to hit the road the other AM. That did not happen to the above reasons. Excuses, excuses, excuses. Well, I still burned up over 4 miles on Precor twice. The temps are getting runnable in the AM's this week. I will get myself out for one tomorrow.

Take note I added some links to previous mentioned items - i.e. Dicks, Pagliacci (Seattle's Best along with Spuds, Tip Tum Thai, The Metropolitan Grill and Daniels Broiler) and one amazing amputee of inspiration. Also, some glimpses of what rocks my sporting world. For the most part I like every day people trying not so ever day fete's of strength and endurance. Plus, I have a thing for athletes who looked like they were on top, then fall suddenly to unfortunate encounters with gravity, health, their own DNA (or cheese).
