Creativity When It Rains

4.5 inches of rain annually? It has been a wet last few months here in our dry wet speck of the Mohave desert. Last few days lots of wind, today lots of wet. It has also been a really bad cold and flu season as well.

Creativity? What do I do in the rain with three of my kiddos  having hacking dry coughs, myself as well. Plus, a 13 week old Husky who NEEDS her 2-3 times a day walk. Any ideas?

Yep, we have been to the Doc office - many times - 2 times for each kiddo now. Still, since they all first have been sick since around Christmas - the cough has remained the same. Oh, I guess it has gone away for a day or two, only to come back. I took the three coughiest to a group visit yesterday after school (which was co-pay times three). Nothing! Nothing prescribed. Nothing mentioned that I did not know already. New Doc? Just grateful we have health insurance to be honest though.

Anyway, three day weekend for The Bronchitis Gang. With nothing to do, but stay inside watching the rain fall on our puppy.

Creative minds?

Here is good one I heard during a flick the other day. Nice little nugget to think about. "Too many times people become miserable in not reaching big lifetime goals. Maybe they should instead have fun, and be cheerful with all the little happy things of every day life instead?"

Wii? I think I will go play with my kiddos and call it an everyday happy, cheerful thing. Coughing included. :)

Cheers!

I definitely think an appreciation for all of the small blessings of life make a real difference in one's outlook and general happiness with life. Right now, I need to tattoo that quote to my forehead.

Yes! Build an indoor fort. Have a livingroom campout. Bring the dog!

I thank you for the comment- I think it's paroneal (sp) and not achilles too- after looking it up. :)
