Gratitude for the Day: Random Offerings

Today? Busy. I don't want this post to seem like a token effort in my daily gratitude quest before Thanksgiving. Yet, I am tired. Long day, and I am just getting this under the wire before the day ends. There are many things, really important things, that flood my mind which I am grateful for. Some inspired by the days events, others long time ones always floating about. So, thrown at ya tonight - random offerings of thankfulness (in list form of course).

1) Very grateful (knock on something lucky) I am healthy in my training these days - ie no ankle, Achilles, calf or other injuries.

2) So glad to find out I don't have a Cold or Flu bug. At least for now my wife has not given me hers. It is my Allergies. It has been very warm here, and everything is in bloom all over again (for the 5-6th time this year).

3) Grateful I can coach my daughter in Soccer.

4) Grateful my daughter loves playing Soccer, even though she knows she is not the best or even second best player on the team (right now). She still gives it her all every practice and game. Plus, has the time of her life doing it.

5) Grateful my youngest loves going to Kindergarten.

6) Grateful my youngest runs to me everyday I pick him up from Kindergarten yelling DADDY! DADDY! Plus, the big jump on me hug that goes with it.

7) Grateful my wife is so strong. Even with a cold she still does it all.

8) Grateful we have employment. 15% of the Vegas economy does not. Pray that it improves.

9) Grateful for technology allowing me to keep good/fun long time friendships going thousands of miles away.

10) Grateful for technology allowing me to have new great/fun friendships with fantastic people hundreds and thousands of miles away.

Cheers!

PS: Near 9 miles this AM. Good run, even though my head was swimming in Allergy meds.

I'm an assistant manager for Kadena air Base Youth Sports and I can tell you volunteer parent coaches is what keeps our program running. I know it means a lot to your daughter and thank you for doing it.
I love your grateful list. Thanks for reminding me of some important things to be thankful for.
