Back to Normal?

Well, at least in some respects. My wife is getting better. She still has some pain, and this may linger some. Hope not longer though. She can go back to work this week. Which is bittersweet. My wife loves her career and her work. Yet, it has been fun being home with her. We have enjoyed it even though she has been battling something very painful and uncomfortable.

Tonsil boy is back and healthy without any issues. Kitten - well - I let her walk around the floor outside the kennel. I just wanted to see how the leg was doing for a few steps. Umm .... the cat run off and jumped on her Sister to start in some affectionate Kitty wrestling. I guess she is doing better. Still gimpy and limpy though. No pain.

I have done two 5K distances on my recovery. The last one - Saturday - very strong. NO PAIN! Tonight after the Temps get down to at least 99 degrees, I will try for a 5 miler. Today, should be the hottest day of the year thus far - about 110.

The sick time all of us have needed of late may have shot down our weekend 4th of July plans. Plus, possibly the SF HM end of the month. Oh well, things happen for a reason - one way or the other.

Anyway, I am sorry I have not been the best blogger friend of late. I just have not had the time to get online these days. Trying to get caught up some today. Keep running and having fun. Remember these two really do go hand and hand - fun and run.

Cheers!

About time things are better at your house. Here's hoping they stay that way!

No need to apologize Slomo - chaos has run wild at the Casa Del Slomo as of late. Take care of your family - we know they need you!

Oh Geez Slomo!

Go away for a little bit and you miss a lot. I am sorry to hear about this cascade of difficulties. At least it seems you all are on the upward slope.

Take care.

Glad to hear eerything is getting back to normal. Just remember - San Francisco will always be there next year. Well. That is if the "big one" doesn't send us falling into the ocean!
